Not sure if this is the right category but hey!!

We booked the wedding and then i realised that it was my friends birthday on the same day.

I contacted her and she was totally fine, and happy about the whole thing (which i knew she would be because she is a sweetheart)

Now i was just wondering last night in bed whether i should get her mentioned in the speech and whether i should give her a gift as well.

I dont want her to feel ignored on her birthday.
What do you think!?

Its my best friends daughters birthday on the day of my wedding.. she will be eleven.. she now has to wait for her birthday party until the next day.

We thought it would be nice later on for the dj to announce her birthday and we will dim the lights and bring a birthday cake in.

so i think yes, do make a point of celebrating her birthday , bu personally not in the speeches, as thats your moment xx

We were originally going to go for 22nd September but that's my grans birthday and, nice as it may seem, I'd rather not have it then. What we have done though is gone and booked the day between my SIL2B's anniversary and birthday. We checked that she was ok with it as that'd be both celebrations in the limelight but her reply was 'you get to a certain age that you dont celebrate either anymore - go for it' lol we thought we'd mention it later on too but again, not during the speeches x

Its my h2b's birthday and my friends little boys birthday on our wedding day so what we are doing is having a birthday cake brought out for both of them so everyone can sing happy birthday and make it special for them.

Its my friends birthday on our weddding day - We are going to bring a cupcake in for him with a candel. He generally hates his brithday but I think it would be sad it no one said anything. I know I would want something to celebrate the day.

i like the idea of dj making announcement.... its not really right to put her in the speeches just as its her b.day. im sure she will have organised a party for herself either before or after wedding anyways so she wont miss out. Also give her the pressie on the day she reorganises her own party.

i would give her a little mention. it is my friends 30th the day before so will say happy birthday as i cant go out and celebrate with her on the friday or the thursday when she goes out xx

my nephews bday was on my wedding day to my ex husband and we got him a cake and made a fuss of him on the day ... but id def do get the band to surprise her etc ... it would put a smile on anyones face she'll love it im sure .

its my autistic cousins 22nd birthday on our big day......completely forgot when we were booking the venue..........but he seems ok with it and my aunt has no problems either so we will probably jsut get the DJ to announce it and give him an extra large slice of cake - its chocolate so im sure hell have a great time! :D xx
