Hi everyone,

If anyone wishes to have a look I had a wee go at making a small hand tied bouquet and buttonhole after Jays post regarding her florist pulling out at the last minute. Remembering I have never ever in my life attempted this before and dont have a book on flower arranging in front of me, I made these from scratch just using a few ideas in my head and what flowers I could find in the local supermarket this evening, prepared the stems and away I went.

they are stunning spooney, and with just 4 weeks to ur wedding too! U will be rewarded by kama i'm sure.

just a suggestion, a longer ribbon around the stems all the way up and down fastened with a pin may prevent stainining of dresses, I know u only used what u could get ur hands on so they are fantastic x

Aww shucks I am crying here with all these lovely comments, just hope I can get some more practice in soon so that I can do them a bit quicker, also will search out the best deals for flowers as I would have to purchase them the day before Jays wedding and take them down (3.5hours drive) with us when we head down to stay at friends in Bathgate on the Friday and then move through to Edinburgh to friends on the Saturday morning. Somehow I will work it all out lol!! But like I said I cant do miracles but will try and do my best as a temporary measure for Jay, as I cant compete and wouldnt think of doing so with very well trained and experienced florists as I have had only 1hr trying out from scratch with no assistance! So I just hope Jay will be happy with the end result on her special day.

Aww thanks girls, have added a couple more pics today of some of the rose heads with diamonte pins in as they just arrived in the post when I returned from radiotherapy.

I am most definitely an amateur Kimi, never have a tried anything like this before and dont think I will again in a hurry as I have loads happening in my life already at the moment, but possibly a career change maybe in the distant future. xx
