He ended it, by text with no real reason. She ended up in hospital coz she had a break down (who could blame her after everything he put her through) Everytime she thought she was getting over him he text her saying how much he loves her and still wants to be with her etc etc and then she'd reply and he'd f*ck off again. I think he text her again either today or yesterday and she took great pleasure in telling him how much better her life is without him and how much happier she is. So good on her!!!

WOW I just read through all of that... what a nightmare! Clearly the man needs help...!! I am glad she is doing well, I would suggest she changes her phone number! It is hard, I had to do it with my ex 7 times as he kept getting hold of it! He did the same to me kept disappearing and coming back with excuse after excuse! I knew what he was doing but couldn't walk away, eventually he laid his hands on me and I had him arrested and he got a 28 day suspended prison sentence, 5 months later he threatened to kill me and that was it, he did 28 days in prison! Some men are just not fit to walk this planet!!!

Maybe we should stop talking about it now. I actually felt quite bad after Tiggs closed the post. I felt like a gossiper. She was right, theres no reason to go back over it and as a form of respect for the poor woman I think it should remain closed. x

Wow, I can't believe this thread is still here. I thought I'd be a bit nosey and searched for my old self and BAM there I am. It's sooo hard to believe I was this stupid naive little girl who let this guy **** with my head. He was controlling, emotionally blackmailing and extremely jealous of my modelling. I do still think of you crazy lot and I have put myself back on here after my other half popped the question last weekend (I always knew I'd be back sooner or later)

It did take a while for me to get over J, we even got back together for a little while but then he went back to the states and decided to cheat on me and send me an email over facebook breaking up with me again.

It took me 24 hours to get over him the second time. I finally woke up.

Looking back on it all now, I laugh, and pity the poor girls (no doubt there will be more than one) after me who he'll mess around. I did do a lot of soul searching after all this happened, and I came to this conclusion:

I was in love with the man who I thought he was, not the guy who he actually was. I had created this perfect guy in my mind and wanted him to be that SO badly that I pushed all the bad stuff to the back of my mind.

My fiancée is an absolutely fantastic man and everyone has said that they've never seen me happier since I've been with him. He constantly tells me how happy he is with me and is helping with every aspect of the wedding.

I know it's been a while, but you lot have no idea how much you all helped. Even though it was excessively painful to see everyone's happy statuses, it did mean the world to me that total strangers would help me through one of the most hurtful things I've ever had to go through.
