I was having trouble finding pink glass tealight holders and I made a thread asking for help. Well, one of you beautiful ladies told me try ikea and I found exactly what I wanted.

These little tealight holder's are going to accompany my hurricane vase centrepieces and are also going to be my wedding favours!

    I paid £1.19 for a pack of 3 and I brought 25 packs!!

I love them but what do you all think? Is this enough for a favour?

I think they are great!! love the colour. if you are using them as decoration too, how will people know they can take them away with them?

I'm going to make a little note for each table with a poem to say they are for people to keep but I will mention it as I go around the tables speaking to guests and will get my bridesmaid's to do the same thing x

Even if they get left behind I will make use of them and I have little organza bags which I'm filling with sweets for each guest too x

That sounds like a wonderful idea. I would pick candles as a favour as i am such a candle person but am having a cupcake theme and i'm gona try and find cupcake things to use as favours. I have found a cupcake candle, its ok, nothing fancy so i'll keep looking to see what i can find.x

I was going to buy half pink and half dark blue, they looked lovely together and totally match my theme but I thought, as my chair sashes will be navy blue and my table runner navy blue, pink will really stand out! x

I have seen cupcake lip glosses somewhere!

I just hope these are enough for people and they don't think it's a bit cheap and tacky giving the decorations as favours?!

not at all! all im doing is making a lottery ticket holder myself and then buying everyone a lottery ticket!! atleast your guests get something to take away with them. i couldnt be bothered with favours but really enjoyed making the holder.

My bridesmaid are in midnight blue, I think my MOH may end up in pink though. I'm kind of just using the pink here and there just to add a wow factor. All the flowers will be pink too! x

The guests shouldnt complain as they are getting a lot paid for throughout the day and at the end of the day its a lot of expense for us brides and grooms, plu!xs they should be there to enjoy your special day and not think about what they're getting out of it.x

Milly i'm on my 4th colour scheme and i have gone for colours that nobody would have thought i'd have picked

im hoping that someone will win big on the lottery and then donate some to us as we bought the ticket!! haha. but yea it is about enjoying the day and being there to celebrate love etc etc. but if anyone does complain, you wont be there to hear it if your jetting off on honeymoon straight away. itll be the last of your worries on the day. x
