Please be kind ladies. Dee drives me mental as she can't decide on favours and changes her mind every 2 seconds! I wanted miniatures at first but not everyone may like the miniature we get them. So my idea now is for us to do crackers with a gold ticket which entitles each guest to a free drink. We could perforate the ticket so the barman can take the free drink part and leave the guest with the stub which has a unique number on so we can do a draw for a bottle of bubbly. Which would be a bit of extra interest. I think the crackers would work well for the Christmas theme.

We're having crackers - I first got the idea about 10 years ago at someone else's wedding. Not sure what we are going to put in them yet. like your idea, but it wouldn't really work for us. We've bought the crackers as I saw them back in December in exactly the right colour - strange as it's blue - not really and Xmas colour!

Brilliant idea, in fact a friend of ours did a similar thing. They weren't favours but with the invitations they included raffle tickets. The tickets entitled all the guests to a free drink at the reception on arrival
Can't wait until the day I become Mrs. Johnson :)

thats a great idea. Well I thought so after I realised you were talking about christmas crackers and not edible crackers. I couldnt work out how you were gonna put a ticket into a cracker! doh
