i started on my shoes last night and almost finished the first shoe
what do you think?? should i just do the heel and front of the shoe, or the full shoe?? i WAS going to have pearls on them too, but i was too impatient lol they haven't arrived yet and i got the gems yesterday

Those are lovely i would leave them the way they are, but an idea if you still wanted pearls on them you could maybes use them to do love hearts on the side or maybe's MR & Mrs. x

WOW!! Love them, you have done a fab job, I would leave them as they are now so you can show of the lovely colour of the shoe too. I think it would maybe be a bit much if you did the whole shoe. But what a fab idea to do it your self, you can buy them like this and they just cost the earth xxx

i used acrylic gems as the swarovski ones are just too expensive!!
i bought 3mm, 4mm and 5mm AB crystals (1000 of each) and used e6000 glue with nozzle. i've still got lots of gems left, but i do still have a full heel to do.
you should do it!! so much easier than i thought. i saw myself making a total mess and getting really frustrated, but i actually enjoyed it. once you get started, you won't want to stop!!
i'm thinking of blinging my daughter's new trainers tonight to surprise her lol

I think it looks better with different sized gems too. I have seen some shoes that used all the same size and it was very uniformed, which wasn't the style I was going for.
Oh and you'll need tweezers!!!
