Im having a rant as my bridesmaids are utterly useless! They were all meant to come up on Sat and not one turned up! My wedding dress is sat there waiting for me to try it on and i need one of them to put it on me as the corset is done properly! Theyve not even bothered to start planning my hen night so ive decided that i shall have it on june 19th and they can like it or lump it. im sick of waiting for them to do nothing! honest to god ive never been more annoyed for no particular reason in all my life. Not one has offered to help with invites, favours, they all agreed to pay for alterations on there dress's as i bought them but not one has collected there dress yet to be altered! calls have been ignored when ive tried to phone them and then its days later i hear from them. at this rate theyre all getting sacked and ill have none. huff.

thats awful, try telling them how your feeling. Its getting close now and maybe they dont realise exactly how soon the wedding is and that they need to hurry up.

Is there no one else, the same-ish size you could swap them for? xx

i wouldnt of waited this long to be telling them to sort it out ! i have had all my bms over twice now and im not getting married for 8 months ! you need to remind them this is the most important day of your life and you and your h2b are never going to forget this day and its there job to make sure it runs smoothly and you have a very special day give them a kick

You need to talk to them . You can appreciate that they all are busy, but they're cutting it a bit fine, Maybe you can delgate jobs to them individually .

I wouldnt have any of that! Well out of order! Theyre not even acting like friends let alone bridesmaids!!! Id sack them asap! Id rather go without than them be that unreliable.Whos to say they wont turn up on the day??!!x

i had the exact same prob hun.. i planned my own hen night,, and i got rid of my bridesmades and im just having flower girls.. it just wasnt worth the hassle to be honest.. maybe you should talk to them and ask whats going on and say if they arent going to conrtribute and help you like they said maybe they shouldnt be your bridesmades (a bit harsh but its what i had to do) xx and 1 was my sister and the other my sister in law.. but i felt much better now i got rid of them.. hope everything works out hun x

oh i got rid of mine like april.. was just doing my head in and couldnt be doing with it.. so i said look your not helping you havnt even got your dresses you cant be bridesmades.. but yh it is really close and maybe they might change if you have a really good chat with them and said you really need their help and stuff.. xx

OMG!!! you're wedding is in 6 weeks and they haven't even bothered with all the fun girly stuff??? What a bunch of cow bags!!! I'd be FUUUUMING! I think you should see what Saturday brings, if theres a no show sack them and get new one's hun ... I really think some of us on here have had the worst, most ungratful little buggers for bridesmaids ... honest to god .. whats their problem? this weekend may be sacking time. ive had enough and im fuming. really truly fuming! ive got so much to do and im doing it all my bloody self! WHY! I have so many people who really wanted to be my bridesmaids and really would have been greaat but i thought these guys would be the best. I bought them alfred bloody angelo dresses, which are gorgeous! ITS NOT MY FAULT THEY DONT FIT! im not asking for much for them to pay for alterations. I need help and i cant believe with 6 weeks to go im planning my own hen night, this should have been last week or something.

try not to stress hun, it really is unfair of them to jus leave u hanging like this, u need to speak to them x and thanks katrina, i really wanted the best hen weekend with suprises etc, but im planning it from A to B so no suprises lol! xx

I feel so sorry for you, hope they pull their act together soon. Just sit them down and say how much it means to you, pull out the guilt card if you have to and give them a shove in the right direction with a few ideas. x

neither can i haha i think im coping ok.. gettiing a bit stresssed.. and everything is basically done.. except my dress.. but im not too worried about that cause i would trust the woman who is doing it with my life.. so everything is going really well!!! how you doing with yours? 4months left.. not long now, it will fly by!!! xx

u seem really relaxed which is good! u should have lovely weather :) my planning's ok apart from rubbish bridesmaids lol, and the vicar is really dragging out sorting out the church fees! ive asked him like 1000 times to let me know the fees and he keeps disappearing lol...u never know he might forget to charge haha yeah right ;) xx

ooo if he does lulu thats just a bonus!!! lol and Jay it will all come together. yesterday i had no flowers still had to sort out favours, balloons what was going in the favours.. book my last fitting sort out my transport... i all go it done today.. i was rushing round like a mad woman.. lol im sure your day will be perfect.. and will be even better if you do it all without your bridesmades! it would really put their noses out of joint i think... xx

one text to say ok ill come get my dress, one went im busy on sat so i phoned her and blew up and said youve done eff all for me, youve been no help all im asking you to do is collect a dress and get it ALTERED! THATS IT! so she was like well ill have to find someone with a car coz youll kill me if i dropped it in a puddle accidently eh. and the other one hasnt even bothered replying. RAGE

I agree, if they don't show on Saturday then don't bother with them!!! Pass the job on to someone who will take pride in being offered the job! x x

i'd give the one who's gonna get her dress a final chance but id defo bin the other two ur worth more than that hun xx
