Sharon,
Just saw this post...and you may have made ur mind up now on this, but...when i was talking to a lady in a dress shop here about dresses - I wanted to know as it was going to be hot (we hope) would I have to have a smaller dress ect, she said that she would suggest a hoop as this will bring the dress away from you and allow air to circulate hopefully cooling you down!! Whether it was just her way of trying to sell me something who knows but it seemed to make sense!
As you know I've still not picked dress but just thought it might help u out! xx

Nooooooo K4ydx a hoop really is cool on a hot day! I got married onthe hottest day of the year last time and had a hoop, it was brilliant! My dress didnt stick to me and everytime i "swooshed" i got a nice breeze!

Couldnt fit a hoop under mine, its very tight fitting, the lace over the top is quite deceiving, the satin underneath is very figure hugging, no room for a hoop!

Goff - the bees knees - thanks for your advice, good to know that I wasnt just being fobbed of in order for them to sell a dress. Tried a few on and was drawn more to the ones with hoops anyway...so there you go Sharon hope that helped....I've been looking at hoops on EB thinking of getting that 2nd hand (my friend paid liek £70 recently for one from the bridal shop...ridiculous!) but will see what dress i get first. x

well done. I got lucky and found my perfect dress on there, and a bargain too. Brand new with tags (a known wedding dress brand).
