I wanted to hire a Mustang for our wedding (Ages yet) but I heard someone say that there is a certain age that you have to be to drive the car and have to have been driving for a certain amount of time. Is this true? If so any idea what age and how much driving experience you need?

The UK requires that you're 25 years old to rent a car, but I know for some classes of vehicles you have to be 30.

they also require you to have been driving for 3 years. two years that the UK gives you as a new driver and then a further year for experiance. Not all companies are the same tho! its always worth asking as every company has a different policy

If its for your wedding hun they are generally chauffeur driven anyway so I dont think you would have to worry about age etc unless it was a self drive hire x

It depends on the company - we just hired a car and paid an added charge of i think £60 for a driver under 25 to drive it. If the driver was under 21 the charge was £100....in both cases they need at least 18 months driving experience. That wasnt a mustang to be fair but it cant hurt to ask xxx
