h2b mentioned having music he likes being played whilst he waits for me? is anyone else doing this?
he wants piano versions of songs he likes.. but theyre all european symphonic metal bands and it all sounds really depressing!

we sat last night at the parentals and done some downloading of songs for the wedding. as the guests arrive im playing vivaldi`s winter piece (all parts) on a loop which wont be long before the music for our entrance starts. h2b wanted some music of his own but my mum said no she thinks it would be nicer an elegant piece not marilyn manson or that "poop" i listen to lol (she doesnt get were using 2 evanescence songs lol) ha ha ha
i think its up to you both as he will be waiting for you and as long as it doesnt sound too brash then why not? xxx

I think its traditional that at church weddings music is played while people take their seats and before the bride arrives. I just want some typical organ pieces played. Piano versions of european symphonic metal bands do they exist??

i dunno, theres something about the way h2b approaches music which just makes me feel like hes trying too hard to push that he doesnt like mainstream and likes 'different' music. so it makes me not want him to haha.
i just want standard music i think but i guess it doesnt matter as i'm not going to be there...
i didnt even realise music got played before i arrived haha!

Were going to be downloading string quartet music, and at our venue they will play it on a loop... Then my enterence music will start. The same music at the beginning will play when signing the registars :)

We have been asked that too ...what music are you having as guests take their seats!?!?!? ummmmmmmmmm...dunno was my answer....i dont want anything to distract the aisle/entrance song. x

We had a CD of classical music for background for when the guests were arriving and until I arrived. We both like a lot of metal music but didn't want it for our wedding as it seemed out of place somehow for the whole atmosphere of the wedding.

aha yeah i didnt think there was any.... see mym72, h2b doesnt seem to understand what is and isnt appropriate for weddings... when i asked him what sort of dress he wanted me to wear.. he answers.... BLACK?!
maybe other peoples taste but i was not expecting that, i was thinking more along the lines of 'a big one or a small one' etc.. btu for him to think of black when it comes to our wedding?! i just wanted to headbutt a wall!
he wanted metallica and 2 different versions of it playing!
argh even writing it out makes me want to heatbutt a wall... cause he knows me and he knows i disagree with all of that so for him to even suggest it?!

I've been given a list of music that our quartet currently play for us to choose from. I went to see them at a fayre the other night and they told us about a wedding where the bride was late so they had to fillin with extra music. The lead violinist suggested a piece of music to which the other 3 were a little surprised but agreed. It turned out to be the music from the panama cigar advert lol (if anyone is old enough to remember that) apparently everyone started laughing and it was a good ice breaker lol x
