i think I'm having Right Here Waiting For You played by a string quartet - I had to choose something that was instantly recognisable as we're only going to hear 12 seconds of it, as thats all it takes to get down my teeny weeny aisle! haha

Am liking everyone's suggestions - is everyone having live music played or have some of you got recorded? And have you picked first dance songs yet? Maybe that's classified information...!
CommentAuthormrs-anni-oc
our first dance song is my favorite artist... true love ways by buddy holly
CommentAuthormadhen
aw that's nice, very original too :)
CommentAuthorClareS
If you're having something with words, make sure there's nothing religeous mentioned! The songs I'd decided on were no good. Instead I've whimped out and having a string quartet instead lol. I still need to think of something for them to play though lol x

we're having the theme music from true romance to walk down the aisle to, We were going to have canon in D which seems to be a popular choice, so we're now having that while the guests are arriving to put them in a wedding type mood x

Im having songbird too but sang by Hayley Westerner. She sounds beautiful singing it and im a bity worried because it always makes me cry lol. I want to walk out to Bruno Mars, Marry you but h2b is not impressed ha ha x x x x

Faye, I am walking down the aisle to Bruno Mars song which I have to time perfectly to go with the words. It was my h2b idea to funk things up as for years everyone has said we wouldn't get wed but we are finally. I like the song At last sang by Beyonce but I think that's more of a first dance song.
I have finally found my soulmate

we've pretty much chosen ours. Liz will be walking down the aisle to "She Moved Through The Fair"-a traditional irish celtic song. signing the register to "Seeing Out The Angel" by Simple Minds.

CommentAuthorJoanneF
We are having 'have i told you lately (that i love you)' as i walk down the aisle, we are having a string quartet, we havnt decided on any others yet we want something fun as we are walking back as husband and wife so thinking 'when im 64' lol x
CommentAuthorXbox widow
You need something that has'nt got a long intro or you'll be there before the actual song starts, have you thought of Takethat Greatest day. The words are very appropriate and its not to slow or to fast. And its not to emotional, so you wont be in floads of tears before you get to h2b.
CommentAuthorJill
Ahhh just found the best exit song - ELO Mr Bluesky! Why havent I thought of this song before? Either that OR Stevie Wonder for once in my life.... these songs are definite contenders for the recessional if the priest says yay x
