Not seeing our registrar for quite a while and suddenly had a thought.... the music that we want played as the guests are waiting and when I arrive, signing of the registrar and making a run for it afterwards..... who sorts it out? I mean, H2B gets there first with CD in hand ..... who sorts out the CD player and the pressing of buttons and stopping and starting etc. May seem like a silly question but does the registrar do it? A registrars assistant? Best man? Usher? Asked H2B if the best man should be given the responsibility but he reckons the venue sorts that out...... havent been to a registry office wedding for a long time and cant remember what happened then.... any ideas? Dont want to bother the registrar with insignificant questions!

thats a relief, had this sudden thought that Best Man would substitute CD at last minute for Alice Cooper or Motorhead..... :) but I suppose thats still a possibility!

LMAO not a silly question at all hun in fact I asked the same thing of our hotel today as originally we were having a singer but she has let us down so I wanted to know who was responsible for the music and they told us they were doing it pheww lol x x

We had to send our CD off to the registrar before the wedding, had to include it with the form we filled out telling them names of best man, who was doing a reading, who the photographer was etc ..... had to tell them what songs we wanted played and when. Apart from my main song being cut very short (registry office wasnt huge so took me about 10 steps to get to the front lol) everything else went ok.
