Right, trying to get my mind on something else tonight and thinking about music for the registry office. We have to go there to finalise things in a couple of weeks and they want our music choices on a CD. Help! Not really getting very far with this! Apparently we need about 30 minutes of 'elevator' music for background whilst the guests are congregating, my entrance music, 10 minutes of music for signing of the register/photos and then short piece whilst we leave the place. So 4 pieces of music of varying lengths. Nothing religious obviously because in a registry office. I have a piece for me to walk down the aisle to, its called Gabriels Oboe from the film The Mission, lovely short piece which is ideal. Just need help with the other 3 bits now! We arent people who are into pop music, more rock, but classical would be ok too as long as it was nothing too 'fussy'. Any ideas? Hard to find a piece of music that goes on for 30 minutes! Though I suppose it could be recorded twice......

we are having Il Divo En Aranjuez con tu amor for signing the register and for the processional we are having 'When I'm with you' by Sherrif and Greatest day Take That for recessional we chose these because they all mean something to us... Pachebels Canon is always popular for register signing, entrance of the Queen of Sheba is a lovely piece of music..Vivaldi's 4 seasons could be played one after the other, there are some lovely Orchestral versions of rock songs too like Nights in White Satin...oh i could go on and on..i love music lol
