    Hi All,

Just wondering what people are doing for the evening entertainment? Me and h2b had planned to have a dj all evening but as always when does the original idea actually become the final choice! Anyway today we were out an saw a really good ban playing who we both really liked. I've been in touch with them and they charge £100 per musician and there is 7 of them, only 4 of them were out today. The dilemma I have is that if we do book the band that will totally blow the budget we had originally for music, i not really sure if the price they have given me is good or not, is anyone else having a band in the evening and how much is it costing?

    Thanks

we are paying 1200 for only four so that is a good price. We decided on a band even thogh we were going to go with a DJ because in our opinion, you just cant beat live music but remember they dont play for the full duration and you normally only get 2 hours play time out of them before they act as your DJ but they do make sure ppl are up and dancing on that dance floor. Ours are a lively band so if you want their details post on my wall.

We're having a ceilidh and they're bringing a dj so we're having 2 hrs ceilidh, break with background music for buffet then 2 hrs with their dj. This was actually my first choice - the one thing I didnt want to change at any point.... cant wait! x

we're having a dj for most of the evening reception but Adams dad is a club singer (he's really amazing) is doing the first part for us as he's going to do a full set and sing for our first dance :o)
