sorry it took so long i have been so busy!!!
Our wedding was 3 weeks ago and well what can i say :-) im very happy!!!
The night before the wedding me and my husband mark went to the venue and decorated our hall. it took us 8 hours!! we was exhausted! we even did the chair covers 250 of them! and table covers, sashes ect! we also got the tables chairs out of storage they was all bundled into a corner not even set up!!! after the venue we limped to my dads we collected my dad, our children and went for a family meal, by the time my husband dropped me home it was 9pm! he headed off to my dads with my dad and our two sons while i stayed home with our daughters and my mum and sister. i showered, sorted all the girls a pile each for the next day "wedding day" new underwear,hair bits,dresses,tights,shoes,flowers,ect! i showered then bathed my daughters, put them to bed looked at the time it was 1am!!! i went to bed i slept in my own bed next to my sister, she grabbed me half way threw the night and called me chris, thats her partners name i wouldnt of minded so much if she didnt grab my bum! lol
i fell asleep pretty quickly! i was woken at 7am by a text from my 10 year old daughter who was in the next room saying mum get up were excited! i shouted go back to sleep! then i realised half asleep what day it was and jumped out of bed! i wasnt getting married till 4pm so i had loads of time! my mum made everyone a bacon sandwich i refused i felt sick with nerves!! i started doing housework! everyone told me to stop but it calmed me! i got all the dresses out and hung them on the curtain pole next to each other :-) i then started on my makeup i prefer to do my own! my sister was also in my room doing hers, i then dressed my daughters and got teary they looked so beautiful!! my sisters hair dresser turned up it was 12pm. my mum came back from the hair dressers with her hair looking lovely! then at 12.30 my hair dresser arrived and did my hair then my daughters hairs, then i went upstairs slipped into white suspenders,thong,stockings, garter,shoes,dressing gown and waited for my dress lady! she arrived and dressed me, put my veil in, did my lace up on my dress, then my wedding car arrived i had a 1920s car, with a proper chauffeur who was dressed in 1920s clothes :-) me my sister and eldest daughter wnt in this car as they was both my bridesmaids. my other daughters went in another wedding car behind me with my mum, the drive to the church was amazing, cars beeped, people waved i felt like royalty in a princess dream and i waved right back! lol
when we approached the church i could see people still walking in and at that point i just wanted to see my mark more than anything i had missed him so much!! the photographer came over taking tons of pictures, i got out of the car, and my dad walked over to me and said "og my god your stunning" with tears in his eyes, we lined up, first to walk in was my mum with marks mum,both holding our sons hand he was our paige boy hes only 17 months old, then my usher "my nephew" walked in with my daughter, then my other usher "my nephew" walked in with another of my daughters, they was flower girls,
then my sister walked in with my eldest daughter my sister had my niece in her arms shes 3 months old she was a bridesmaid :-)
then the doors closed the music changed, and the doors opened and me and my dad started walking in, i was at this point as calm as anything and totally relaxed, as soon as i saw mark he looked like he was going to cry, guests smiled, the wedding its self was amazing!!!!!! it lasted around 40 mins.
afterwards everyone had pictures taken outside the church, then onto the church field, then guests left for reception and me and mark had alone pictures done, the guy who drove me to church was waiting he opened a bottle of champagne and we had a drink, then we climbed into the wedding car and he drove us to our reception again people waved and mark told me how stunning i looked and how much he loved me and how proud of me he was for the wedding i had organised alone.
we arrived at our reception and the DJ welcomed us everyone clapped and still i was calm and felt like it was all a big dream, we did our speeches and gave out gifts to the whole wedding party, then we all had a 3 course meal, then we had our first dance to brian adams everything i do and i had a good feel of my husbands bum imagining him in his new boxers! lol
the night went so quick it was unreal. we left at about 12pm we left guests at reception because we was tired, my dad took all the kids to his, me and mark got a cab to the 5 star hotel we booked, we arrived to the biggest honeymoon suite, we had a hot tub on the balcony!!! a private lounge, two tvs! a bar, petals on bed, two bathrooms, four poster bed, strawberry's and champagne on ice, i took my dress off and showed my new husband what i was wearing under my dress and his eyes almost popped out lol
the next morning we opened our cards,
went to breakfast and to the spa and had massages, we was totally loved up, kissing,holding hands,smiling,like we had just met all over again we couldn't leave each other alone!!! we had breakfast, then went to my dads where the kids was and my dad cooked a family roast dinner abit like a Xmas dinner with all the trimmings!!!
from then till now we have paid off our holiday were off in 7 weeks, its all felt like a dream, we love each other so much more its weird, the only way i can explain it is for the past 18 months organizing the wedding i was abit stressed, and afterwards that went and i knew instantly mark was worth every tear,worry,stress,penny and i would do it over!!!
we have done all we had to do to change my name, im now a MRS!! and i feel so grown up! lol
i tell people hes my husband every chance i get! i have already booked our 1st wedding anniversary present! i have booked the same wedding car 1920s car and same man to collect us next year on June 1st and take us to the same hotel we used for our wedding night, were having the same suite, and a day and night of treatments, meals, and staying there the night, i booked in advance to make sure we get the same room and same car!!! i think il leave you all with a few pics :-) thank you all so much for your support this site has helped me so much along the way xxx
