My mil isn't trying to ruin my wedding, and isn't nasty, but shes worse. She is sneaky and manipulative, pretends to be nice as pie but has let herself slip a few more times than she knows I'm aware off.

Im getting married in mexico next aug. we booked it 2weeks ago and got engaged july 2010 and told them thats our plan as its something ive wanted to do since i was 5. MIL says they are skint and we not given then enough notice and she not coming which is fine by me but its my partner i feel sorry for. His sister i did get along well with but she now saying she wants to bring a friend and we both saying no as its our wedding she supose to be my bridesmaid. i want a small wedding just my mum,dad,brother and nephews and his mum,dad and sister. we have had nasty txts and phone calls saying they carnt see or problem and they gona try and book anyway. MIL says she not coming if his sister does not. doing my head in x

My sister in law is.........i dont even want to call her my sister in law to be honest, not sure if you read one of my other discussions but shes stopping me from seeing my niece and nephews whole situation a mess and shes causing more trouble now because shes jealous! Sorry if i work for a living and dont sponge of the government thats her choice not to work so not my problem x
(ps i dont mean to insult anybody in any way shape or form that may be on benefits she just p's me rite off how she acts over things we do she is badly jealous and if she doesnt like it because we both work then she and her fella should get off ther fat backsides n get a job then) xx

Why dont you try and keep details of your wedding to a minimum where they are concerned........ I'm doing that with my own family and H2B's because it's easier... Too many people's opinions gets confusing and you end up losing control of your day..... Just an idea I don't no if it will work in your situation xxx

Good luck Rach. Just a thought is there no way you MIL could put some one to one side each month and may be do a late booking when it could be cheaper just a suggestion xx

my mil2b is lovely i get on with her but since we have booked the wedding she as become distant and anytime i try and discuss the wedding with her she ignors me so ive just stopped talking to her about the wedding laura im with you bout the jelousy h2b brother and sisters are so jelous of us we are the only ones that work on his side of the family and they always go on about how much we earn and the fact we have our own house ect... none of them come to visit us out of jelousy ony his one sister it p****** me right off too lol

I get on great with MIL and SIL :) MIL lives in Spain and SIL lives in Oz so yep we get on great :D
