    So ladies,

I keep wondering how I want my hair for my wedding, but wha heeps going through my mind is...I want to be comfortable!

I am currently growing my hair, and its doing really well. Everyone thinks I should have my hair down for the wedding, which I would also like, but then I think of how elegant an up do can look, and maybe this may be more practicle, especially if we get married outside, and for the outside photos...cumbria can be windy!

What are peoples thoughts on this?xx

My hair has been grown for the wedding and thankfully the dress needs an updo, all I can think about with hair down is the glamorous hair caught in lipgloss or when I breath in and accidentally inhale a strand! I know I'm weird I embrace it!

    I'm now a married woman
    I have a gorgeous husband
    Whats to do now
Theres no more wedding planning to do

i have short hair, but am growing it a bit, if it gets long i'll deffo go for an more up do, for my brothers wedding i had the top hal in a french plait and the bottom into ringlets, hard to explain but it looked lush and was perfect for me wearing a hat too, as when i took the hat off my hair didnt look flat.

Thats what I mean Rags, I don't want to keep pulling hair out my face on my photos and things like that, and get hair sticking to my face when I get hot in the night.

It would either be a half up half down doo, or totally all up in a bun type thing. I think I will try both with my dress, and see which one looks bes. If its the down one, then I will just have to put up with it lol xx

Im definitely having an up do - if my hair is down i fiddle with it constantly and dont even realise im doing it
Luckily my dress really needs an updo so thats good
My hair is quite long - if it were down i would totally end up eating it or having it stick to my lip gloss etc

There are so many people out there who will tell you
    what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

I would like my hair half-up ideally, but I'll be having an up-do. My hair usually annoys me after a while if I wear it down, and I would get mega-annoyed if it blew about during photos. My other concern with having it down would be how well it would last; I'd hate it to go flat/loose the curl, and because my hair is quite fine, there's a good chance that would happen with the best will in the world.

I've had mine put up quite a few times for parties, and it's amazing how well it lasts, and how it just stays perfectly in place. I once kept it in for 3 DAYS, and it looked just as good as it did when I had it done lol (yes I am a tramp, but I hate taking my hair down after a hair-up, it takes AGES and it's painful taking out all the grips and brushing out all the spray and back-combing!). It's great though because you can dance about, even go out in the wind, and not worry about it moving.

So yeah, although I like the look of hair down/half up, I'm having mine all up for ease and practicality, and comfort.

I always wanted my hair half up with some loose curls but after I picked my dress Ive had t ochange my mind and go for an updo....its got lots of detailing on the back that i don't want to hide.

at the end of the day it all depends on what you are comfortable with and what kind of look you are trying to acheive. If you think that the wind will get on your nerves I'd look for a 'do that at the very least pulls your hair off the front of your face. Why don't you and a friend try a few styles and see what suits you and what you want. Thats what me and my mum are doing anyway :)
