Well even tho we still got 3 years to go we now have booked another 2 suppliers for our wedding day booked the photographer last month and have just booked the supplier who is going to be doing our chair covers, so all together we have the venue, videographer, photographer, chair decorator and our doves all booked up, at this rate i think i will be well prepared for the big day hoping to get more things booked by end of this year. It feels great booking things and the on the plus side booking them in advance means we get them at this years prices and it gives us more time to pay. xx

i am the same!! i have the venue chosen, dress picked out, colour scheme, although i am getting married abroad so we cant pay a deposit on the venue yet.
Very organised, I have loads to do and 6 months to go arrgghhh x x

OH my how can you all be so organised, i havent sorted 1 thing at all for ours and when got engaged said i woul be so orgaised but that didnt work!!!

Mrs Brammer to be, i'm sure you will get things sorted wen ur ready we only doin it now so it gives us time to pay for things in the mean time rather than pulling out big lump sums of money. xx

We've just booked our venue for 4/4/15 and I am glad to hear you've been booking things up! I feel really silly telling suppliers when our date is and feel like they won't take us seriously! I'm just too excited to sit on it for a year and also would like to book it all and pay for it asap so we're not stressed before the wedding !

katiesA72 i no exactly how you feel when suppliers ask me when the date is i sheepishly say oh not till 2015 some are ok with that and really helpfull others can be a bit unforthcoming and make you feel like you shouldn't be looking/booking anything yet but there isn't a rule out there that says you cant plan ahead. i would book everything i could early but don't always have the deposits but the main big expense things are booked. x
