    What is the norm?
Does the mother of the bride and even Mother of Groom, match in? colour wise?
or have a totaly different colour? to have hints of the choosen colour in?

I used to work at hof in the occasion wear department, and all of our mob and mogs knew the colour scheme but didn't want to match it. They all chose to compliment it. For example were having a pastel pink colour and my mum will be having a complimenting outfit in a pastel colour like a pastel green. I don't have a clue what his mum will do, but I'm sure whatever she's chooses will be lovely. I went to a wedding last month where the colour scheme was red and the mog was wearing the exact same shade of red and it looked a little odd! X

To be honest, we didn't really consider the colour scheme. My mum wore a dress that suited her and looked good on her, I wasn't fussed what colour it was as long as she was happy with it x

I'm not sure there is a rule, I let my mum get whatever she was happy and comfortable wearing and my sister did the same for her wedding.

I think mum is going to choose something she is happy in, she is a red head and a bit overly-cautious about clashing with colours. Personally, I think she should strike out and wear purple!

MIL will prob wear cream (Which im not happy about) but she can wear what she wants and look stupid lol

My mum will not wear the same as my bridesmaid she is going to go for a soft colour but will decide nearer the time although I think she will end up in pastel blue or pink

They will be wearing what they like, I don't feel that it is anything to do with me.
