so i missing my h2b like mad, he works away In ireland and usually comes back every 2 weeks but he has been out there for 2 weeks and now he having to stay another 2 weeks. Its horrible we have 2 children and they miss him too. We have no choice but for him to work out there we have so much debt, the only way for him to come home is to pay some of it off with the sale of our car but we have been advertising it for ages with no luck at its under what its worth. its just so frustrating want him home and the money is sat in the drive. i dont know what to do, i would go to work but i have to look after my children and do the school run as well. all our family work so they cant help out. i miss him so much and all we ever argue about is his job and his wanker of a boss. just so upset and fed up :(
Aww poor you. I'm in a similar situation, my H2B works and lives in Switzerland but normally manages to come home about once a fortnight but this time it'll be 3 1/2 weeks too. We haven't got kids and I work a lot so I can't imagine what it must be like for you, I find it hard enough as it is. Can you not try and sell the car on the website of that company that 'buys any car'?

iv looked into it and its ridiculous prices its less than part ex price basically the car is worth £5000 and they offered £2300 !! so that would be a huge loss and wouldnt pay of the debt we have. but thanks for the suggestion, auto trade is £38 and local newspaper is £36 which i think is absolutely ridiculous as well we can afford that every time it dont sell and wen we have put it on there you just get scammers emailing you, nightmare!!

Have u got some signs in the car window 'for sale' I think that's how I ended up selling mine. For some extra pennies have u looked into maybe doing the Avon or similar as they can help to bring in some money but don't take up too much time? x

got signs in but we dont drive it anymore as using other car we got as its cheaper to run, so its not insured coz it costs £60 for the car we usin at min and the bmw costs £100 a month so cant afford both of them. avon i have contacted a couple time had the avon reps contact me and then i never hear from them again lol

Have you tried putting it on ebay with a reserve price? Loads of people buy and sell on there. Also adds in the local papers and auto trader might help. Even facebook can be a good way of getting rid of it.

ebay dont charge a final value fee on car/bike ads, you just pay a slightly more expensive ad fee. OH has just put his bike on there and only charges will be £8, as you tick the "cash on collection" option, final value fees would be too unreasonable on the prices cars sell for so they only charge them on other things not cars/bikes

i no how you feel h2b is in germany for 2 month working =( kinda gettin more used to it now but its stil horrible. carnt even imagine how hard it must be with kids to. xxx
