    Hi, we are going on a cruise as our honeymoon, but not until probably the year after the wedding, so thinking of treating my h2b to a minimoon for a few days away in cambridge as i love the place and he has not been yet. can anyone advise any really romantic hotels there with fews along the river x

    I married him and became Mrs Garnham.
    It was most definitely the happiest day of my life.

    i love cambridge lived there whilst at uni, took h2b up there last year he loved it too! we are thinking of doing the same haha. funny he hasn't been there he has lived all over the world pretty much and travelled loads but never been there until i took him to visit friends

    Cambridge is lovely but I have never stayed there. You should go punting - H2B took me punting in Cambridge for my birthday a few years back and it was lovely :-)

    I have found the perfect hotel which overlook the water, i have booked a penthouse suite for three days, going to be expensive but it will be my wedding gift to h2b, it will be just perfect x

    The Doubletree, which is a Hilton Hotel, looks very nice, do you know it x

    i saw it last year when i went to visit friends we went for a punt so only seen that bit if it looks lovely just had a nosy at their site! not sure it was there when i was at uni don't recall it and looks pretty new

    not sure how long its been there, just loved the idea of it being on the water, we have a balcony that looks out onto the water, i didnt really want to spend that much, but it was perfect and just knew i had to upgrade to a suite with the balcony. i cannot wait to spoil my h2b on our minimoon, as we wont go on our cruise till the following year, shame its still 16 months till the wedding though, going to take forever to get here x
