"I've got mine, but could I be cheeky n say for u to bring at least two of yours for yourself and ***** just in case."

    i replied:

"Tbh they're going in the loft and hadn't really planned on using them beforehand cz I don't really wanna risk them getting lost or damaged sorry chick xxx"

Is it just me or is that rude?! id NEVER, EVER ask another bride, whos gettng married after me and theyve not even had the chance to use their own stuff....

a tad cheeky I think. I wouldn't dream of asking to use something of another persons before they'd had chance to use it themselves. A different story if they offer but you should never ask x

I don't think it's that bad really, they're umbrellas and she wants you to use them for yourself. If it was me and it was between using my umbrellas and getting wet I'd probably just take mine!

Unless they were proper fancy and would out do the brides brolly anyway haha!

I can't believe she has tried to guilt trip you. I like your response. Sorry but it's uk we are prepared for rain and sell brollies all year round. Either she should prepare for it herself or deal with it x

She only asked, she didn't demand them off you. I really wouldn't worry about or stress about it. You said no. Problem solved.
If she's really bugging you so much just ignore her for awhile.

Yeah i agree, I think after the wedding its fine to ask if you can borrow things but before you've used the things yourself is just no on! I'd be annoyed as its puts you in a tricky position of not wanting to appear like the rude one - which you are not - but it just is an awkward situation. She shouldn't have asked. xxx

I would be on your side. I wouldn't want to use any of my wedding accessories before my wedding. If they got ruined I'd be so upset.

Hehehehe she is just jealous luv and your gorgeous big white brollies :) I'm made up you're so pleased with them, they served me well on my wedding day. You done the right thing as in the fuss of the day, they can easily get lost or taken home by others by accident. As for the people that want to use them after you, I would say to them that they can buy them off you? You've bought them so why should they get to use them for free? Up to you tho luv xxx
