well as some of you know im a tad furious about the whole events of h2b stag doon sat and the fact he will now look like wayne rooneys uglier brother on his wedding day.... yes im being a tad vain but i aint marrying shrek :O)

plus now hes uninvited his family cos they are just idiots... so less than 2 weeks to go i am seriously consdidering cancelling the big white wedding that he wanted and that i have worked so hard creating for it all to be wrecked (and no this isnt me over reacting.... the one thing that means more to me than anything is the photos i love photos and i dont want photos photoshoped or with his with make up on or just one side of his face ... i want tonnes of piccies from everyone thats gone to the wedding to upload all over fb... i dont want to make do with makeup and trying to cover his wounds.... hes a knob and has wrecked it ...people remember weddings for the negatives... i remeber my cousins wedding last yr for the awful potatoes the awful melon, ,my dress being ruined on the buffet the photographer doing a charlies angle pose with us and the brides dress looking awful from the back ..... ours will be remebered for the groom having a smashed up face... so yes to me ruined ... and we all know we remeber weddings mainly for the negatives, well i do and so do my fam and frends... so to me he has yes maybe by accident runined the day )

so im thinkin do what i wanted to do.. elope a quik flight to vegas and just do it.... no drama no fluff and no ****....

hes off to try sort his face out and family out i hold out no joy so i may well just cancel it all .... and just get on a flight that day to vegas instead....

granted we'll still have to pay the balances on everything but do you know what i dont care id give my venue away then for someone to have a huge free party and just go get married away from all the drama and embaressement of this weekend

Noo don't cancel your wedding! You've put so much love and attention into it. Perhaps your h2bs face won't be too bad when the wedding date comes along. I guess you're really angry right now, maybe you need a cooling off period before making a final decision. Just had a look at all your photos everything is so beautiful can you really cancel your dream wedding?

awww hunni im so sorry,,,again though do what's right for you,i know its hard in the last few days up to your wedding and we brides do have a tendency to blow things up,as we know how hard we have worked to create this magical day,some times something has to give or we have to back down,,i don't think for one second that you really want to postpone after everything you have done,i know what your saying is right about the pictures,mine are like my own personal memories,i look at them daily and smile,but another way to look at is ,in years to come youl look at them and if you do (and i said if) see any marks or bruises you might look back and think "oh yeah i remember that"..dont let this one little thing spoil what could potentially be the best day of your life xxx

but thats the point its only fluff them bits..... what the point in a fluffy wedding when the grrom looks like half his face is hanging off...

hes going to speak to his parents and family and RE INVITE them!!!! after i said get ur bottom round there and invite them now u KNOB and hes going to hospital to have a head xray and to get his faced cleaned and if and i mean IF the hopital can guarentee me that his face will be 100% better then i will marry him on 11th june if not i aint turning up ... to have my wedding day runined by his knobish antics at the weekend becuase if his face is not 100% better it will be runied as number on and why i have spent so much and have 2 different styles of photographers is because of the pictures.... my memory is awful and i have to have piccies to remmber things, i dont remeber stuff that happeneed 5 yrs ago yet my friends do, this is why piccies are mega important to me ...

angry is an understatement i actually dont want him to come home as i know for a fact he will have a matching other side ... but i am remarkably calm no longer want to bury him and force feed him sand till he chocks (progress!!!)

he went on his satg do on sat in kent at 2pm.... 1130pm i get a phone call from him when im out in london with my sis raveing it up, cant hear him put phone down.... i turn up at his nans on sunday to pick up car to drive home as hes got a meeting in london tomr and i am finally greated by quasimodo.... apparently he fell has took the skin off one side of his face were talking the same size of a 5x7 photo here weeping pussing bleeding no skin at all just open wound , possibly fractured his eye socket all bruished swollen cut lips to rival katie price againall smashed up and cut open, and not other injurys bar his face so when he apparently fell fell face first unconcious .... oh and plus wore his very expensive wedding shoes i bought him on his stag do.... knob.... he didnt tell me he left it to his nan to tell me.... he just showed me it knocked me phyically sick tbh it was vile... he honestly looked like someone who was battered to near 6 inches of their life

(and yes my wedding as i have done everything for this wedding he got measured picked a venue with me and had a stag do that it so yes my wedding)

so to many i understand i may be over reacting to you... as the vows are meant to be the most important part marrying the guy u love blah de blah .... to me its not cos if it was just that vegas would have happened by now its the whole production of it, the guests add to the atmosphere etc etc and i aint marrying him and been remebered for him and his face ..... plus our wedding was going in county brides magazine too weve been asked and said yes... well that wont be happening now will it!!!!

hun i know you are cross and upset but at least he is still here to marry, would you rather he had had a much worse accident ???

oh i know.... lala im not saying i dont want to marry him cos i do ... just dont want to marry him and for me to look back when im 60 and see him looking awful (well more than normal) i would so prefer to wait a mth jet off to vegas wear my dress all day get married get hammered play some cards wake up next day married in my dress with just me and him and zero fluff or bollox, rubbish, family politics etc and the photos to be AMAZING of us both and not trying to hide his face or with makeup on, i wont laugh about it in yrs to come i can hold grudges for many many yrs lol

The stress may also be getting to you because you only have 12 days to go and you may be thinking just stuff it all lets do it this way, their have been a few people on here that when they only have a few weeks to go arent excited about it. This could be your time-but your h2b has just made it more stressful for you. I think its your day and you need to do what feels right, you dont want to start of married life begrudging your hubby because of his wounds. Fingers crossed it will be good news from the hospital and the wounds will heal quickly x

If not could you not have a photo shoot done at a later date! Do the hair make up etc! That way you get to ware your dress again! and get the wonderful piccys you want! I know its not the same but then you dont have to loose everything all the hard work and money you have spent on your perfect day :-)

if you have wedding insurance check the small print,there might be something in there about medical reasons!!

see to me .... doing wedding photos few weeks later ... is not for me... its not my wedding day... its just a normal day.... it will mean nothing to me .... it will just make me remeber that hes the worlds biggest knob..... plus not as if can get the guests all back and do it all again as there photos are the ones that mean more to me than professional ones ...

I understand that it is your day and you've put all the effort into it and you want it to be perfect, but maybe a little sympathy for your h2b cos right now I am kinda asking myself why are you wanting to marry him. I know what blokes can be like but they are feeble creatures doesn't he deserve even a little bit of compassion after his accident?

Now that's said...If it were you who had had an accident would you still plan on going away for the wedding or would you carry on as planned? Answer that and then I think you'll have your answer to your question.

I'd be annoyed but I would be concerned for him and don't think I would waste my effort and time spent on the wedding for it. Maybe it's just me I don't understand it.

sorry to hear that your h2b has hurt himself doing what men do, id wait and see how his face heals, and see if anything could speed up the healing process.
Id wait until then before you cancel your wedding day as you have put so much effort into your big day, is it just one side can he possible have pictures taken with his best side?
i know i would be furious if my h2b done that hes allowed a stag do just a month in advance, and i bet hes feeling really bad, id go with him to the walk in centre so you can see the extent and ask them on how long it might take to heal cos like most men he will probably not ask the questions you will ask him when he gets home

ok fair enough. We're all individuals like I said I obviously just don't understand something or I've missed something or something somewhere I dunno. Personally I'd let nothing ruin my special day I have planned, but then I'm working to such a tight budget and still trying to get as much "fairytale" as I can afford. Doesn't help we've just "gained" another child in the house as well. If the photo's mean that much to you and you want the fairytale wedding can you not just change your date? You're more likely to get better weather if this rain keeps up as well that way. But then it depends, do you want your friends and family with you or happy to elope? Eloping would be exciting, but you HAVE been putting so much work into your special day (love the cake btw and the dress)
