hi we are just about to book our menu tasting but when trying to book it they said that we need to pick our menu choice before we go to the tasting so they can order it in. maybe its just me but surely you need to try and few things before you pick?? maybe im just a bit confused as ive never been to one before.

when we booked the wedding our planner said that we can have more than 1 option per course as long as we pre-order but ive just checked our contract and it says one option per course! our wedding planner has just gone on maternity leave too!!

can someone give me some advice on menu tasting and what was it like for you at your venue? thanks xxx

When we booked ours we had to tell them what we wanted as we could only pick one dish.

Have you spoken to them and said that you got told you could pick more than one.

Does your wedding planner not have cover for her maternity leave? I would of thought for tasting they would bring out a small portion of each option to help you choose?

thats what i thought but apparently not. doesn't bother us though cus there's only really 1 thing we aren't sure about and that is whether to have chicken or turkey for main. oh and the fact that me and H2B like all the same food but having to force ourselves to go for something different for the tasting so we try a few things lol.

we have now been given another wedding planner so i just hope shes as nice as the last one! x

We was told we had to pick a menu as if you would be eating your wedding meal ... It's too much work for them to have to prepare lots of mini meals, if u want to try a few things I think you'd have to book a few tasting sessions but this can cost x
