So we have out menu tasting in 2 weeks and I am sooooo excited !!! I say "we" I mean me and my MOH as my OH works away so he cant join in :-(.

I literally cant wait to try things and know that its all coming together. Cant believe its 7 months away already, with xmas NY and my bday in Feb out of the way, it will be 4 months !!

My dress isnt going to be ready for another 4 weeks (I ordered it on May 5th !!! so 8 months just for that !) and I ordered my wedding ring yesterday which arrive from the US in about 4 weeks too.

Hope all your planning is coming along as you wished it would. Have a great wknd.

    x

    Lynsey xx

OOO yummy, I so wish we had done menu tasting now. We were having a buffet so only had to chose the starter and dessert, but we kinda knew what we were going for anyway. I just wish we had had it so that I could actually taste it.

Your day will be here before you know it as well.

Perhaps you can think of it as a surprise for your OH on the day, assuming the food is lovely..?
You'll know what kind of things he likes, so don't worry about the pressure all being down to you to choose which dishes are best.
Or is there the opportunity to choose now in the official tasting and go there for a birthday meal in February instead? X

I do feel a lot of pressure tasting for him when he isnt there because he is SUPER fussy but he trusts me (so he says :-s).

AmyK that is a great idea !! Im going to ask him about it but that would be perfect.

We are having a sit down meal in the afternoon and a bbq in the evening assuming the british weather can hold off.

    xx

My H2b is really fussy like yours so I'm letting him pick the menu, good thing is he doesn't like pudding and that's my favorite bit so I get to pick that :D x

If he doesn'tlike it on the day insist it was different when you tasted it & the head chef must be off on your day! ;-)
