Has anybody gotten married or know anybody who has wed in Melissani Cave Lake in Greece? It's such a beautiful location that my hubby to be and I have stumbled across when looking at destination weddings. I'd love to hear about your experience or your plans to we'd in this cave, especially about who your planners were and your budget!

    Thanks,

Well I was thinking that a ceremony on a lake would be amazing! I'm not sure if it's legal though - some websites suggest you can do it, but don't give any detail. If not, we could do it nearby and then take our guests on a boat ride after and take pictures.

Another place that looks great is Dana Villas in Santorini - has anybody heard any reviews about this venue? I think it's a bit pricy for a ceremony and reception (according to a few wedding planners I've been in contact with - though it could just be their fee that bumps up the price), so I imagine I would choose a different budget-friendly reception. I'd love a private terrace overlooking the waters and have a bbq with everyone before dancing the night away :)

    xx
