Ahhh ok well I'm not too sure then as I am CofE. If he has agreed to talk to you then that means that he will probably marry you, as if not he would have not even mentioned a meeting. My uncle got married in a CofE church last year after being married twice before and had to go to a meeting with the reverand. I know he was asked why the previous marriage ended, why he thought it would be different this time, and also had to show him his absoloute decree as proof that he was no longer married. The reverand also got in touch with his last 2 wives to see if he was telling the truth as to why the marriages ended and also asked them if they gave permission for him to re-marry in a church. So it wasn't anything too bad, so dont worry about it too much xxx

I think Church of Scotland is very similar to Church of England in their practices, altho each Diocese may do things slightly differently. He may want you to start worshipping there before he will marry you both hun. Dont worry and just go along and see what he says, nothing ventured nothing gained ;) xx

Hiya, we have been married before and went to see our vicar. He asks why did your other marriage break down. Was it the fault of your partner. My Mr wife died nearly ten years before we met and my marriage broke down before of met. He will ask why do you want to marry in church. And just chat with you about normal stuff. Its really relaxed and not like an interview:/ Don't worry about it. Just be yourself.
