Okay so I've recently been looking at invites and I know it sounds silly but I've fallen in love with matching Wedding day and Evening me to you invitations. We sent out me to you engagement party invites so it's kind of like a running theme. Mum thinks it's a nice idea as we're having a Me to you wedding ring cushion so it kind of fits the theme but Mil2b thinks they are tacky and that people will turn their noses up if I send them out =/. They're also very cheap at £4 for 10.
I also looked at professional ones that are 2 pictures 1 of me as a little girl and 1 of H2b as a little boy with the slogan "Guess who's getting married" underneath I also love these but again Mil2b doesn't like them.
Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on this? Tacky or not? Me to you or baby pictures?

I like the Me To You one's they are cute. I don't think they are tacky! You could always bling them up a little with some diamanté's and write everthing in silver. For the price you can't go wrong

I have a silver calligraphy pen that I plan on writing in them with if I get them and they already have a little diamonte in the corner I just think they're quite cute :). Mil2b doesn't like them because a few will have to be sent to Italy and she thinks they should have "Posh" invites. Pfft. xx

yeah ignore ur mil2b i would do the same thing i love the me2you once :) got a huge collection of the bears my mum would love them too but i couldnt choose them for myself as h2b doesnt like these bears :D so for me it would be a no but if ur mum, h2b and u like them go for it :))
is mil2b paying for the invites???? guess she isnt so dont think about it, just get them :)

Oooooo well if you like me to you I have a few things you might like................
First of all if you look in my folder I made a me to you ring cushion for my friend which I sewed onto satin using waste canvas which is really easy to do. I have three of the wedding tatty teddy cross stitch charts which I would be more than willing to email to you. Having the home made feel to them doesn't make them tacky at all. I also have some me to you stamps and I have just been making a thank you card for someone. It would be really easy for me to turn them into wedding ones if you wanted something more than the printed cards you get from the shops. I'll try and upload a pic for you to have a look at and will put it in the craft items.

My wedding is Me2You based so many things I have revolves around the bears and my MIL2B likes it, my H2B is happy and if anyone wants to complain they know where to go cos I aint listening. Have what you want if your happy with your choice.

i've got the me to you wedding planner book and its all gorgeous. I can't have me to you at the wedding though cos FIL2B works for a rival card company and cannot stand 'THE BEAR' as he calls it, shame cos i love the guest book!

Well I bought them today 8 packs of day ones and 5 sets of evening ones, I've decided if Mil2b doesn't like them she doesn't have to have an invite does she! lol I've also bought the set of me to you bride and groom bears, the guest book and the wedding planner :) so they can all go in my little box with my ring cushion :) XjoX thank you very much but I think if someone let me lose with a cross stitch I'd probably sew it to my self or something lol thank you for the offer tho :)

all of my wedding stationary will have something me to you bear on! even the order of service (which i'm making will have the tatty teddy on cos my bm is gonna get stickers with the date on them for me :) i have the invites, a limited edition large album (available from Clin tons), guest book, wedding planner and cake topper! if i can find anything else, i'll buy it :) me to you bear is the best. buy them if u like them hun! xx

I would love to have the me2you wedding invites and the rest but i guess than there wont be a wedding :( as h2b hates them... and i have a whole collection of over 60 of those sweet lovely tatty bears :) havent been buying them for long time now... as h2b wouldnt be so happy about it... might have to sell some of mine sooner or later will be hard... but i'm sure i find someone who's gonna buy them and love them as much as i do :)

We are having a me to you wedding, we had the invites, we have the ring cushion, guest book, cake topper etc. So obviously i dont think they are tacky in the slightest :-) x
