Sorry for another post.. probably getting sick of me now lol.. BUT I've just found the perfect wedding invitations and table plan design, it's a firework theme and the fireworks spell out yours and your h2bs initials, the only fault is it doesn't say wedding invitation on the front but thats nothing really and it doesn't do any other stationery to match, like place cards and menus so I was wondering whether anyone knows if I could take the design and have another company and have them printed making the whole lot for me, or is that a bit naughty??

Taking a design to another company may be infringement of copyright so they may not do it.

However, if you design your own and it happens to be almost identical to what you have seen so that it can be professionally done and printed so all other stationery matches then this is fine ;) xxx

I've just emailed the company to see if there was anyway they could make the rest up for me, hopefully they will be able to, I cant see why not!
If not, I will just have to keep searching in hope that I find someone who does something similar and does the lot as I really am too lazy to design something and then find someone decent and cheap enough to print it lol xxx

The company i ordered my save the dates from went bust (or at least i assume they did as they disappeared off the face of the earth!!) But i really wanted my other stationary to match. I found a company that copied the design for me :-)

Sounds fab! Would you not attempt having a go at making them yourself? Scan the image, resize and print!

well at the end of the day a girl has to do what a girl has to do!!!

We received a gorgeous card for our engagement which looked like someone had carved our names in a tree trunk. It was A5 size so I scanned it and reduced it to A6 and made some lovely engagement afternoon tea invites. Once you know what are the best papers/glue are best to use it is easy and I would help with any advice you need as in a former life I used to design and hand make wedding stationnery...as well as organise weddings. I have however found it is much more fun to help other people than it is to organise our own due to horrible family politics and awful in laws to be! :( Let me know if you need a hand! x
