As most of you know I am getting married in cyprus in less than 3 weeks & i had a nightmare last night that our marriage certificate was in greek rather than in english.. Now i cant get the thought out of my head.. am i panicing over nothing?
Please tell me our marriage certificate will be in english.. ??

hmmmm you might need to pay to get it in english, thats kinda why we chose kenya they speak swahilli and english. Check with your wedding advisor but to be honest it shouldnt be an issue. Oh a dont know if you know this but on facebook there is a cyprus wedding advisor page x

Are you 100% sure? I hope your right lol I know someone who got married abroad a few years ago (cant remember where) but she had to pay £1000 to have it changed to english or something rediculous like that

The Legal Requirements The wedding ceremony will be conducted in English and all paperwork including the Marriage Certificate, which is fully recognised in the United Kingdom, will be issued in English. Two witnesses will be required in accordance with Cyprus Law. We will be only too pleased to provide witnesses should the happy couple require this. Marriage In Cyprus will take care of you at all times. It is always best at the time of the registration to order an extra copy of the marriage certificate.
