My FIL2B owns a marquee company so my H2B has said he is going to do all the decorating and arranging of the Marquee and I am not allowed in until we go there to the reception!! Omg i dont know if I can manage this lol I am a bit of a perfectionist so all I will be worrying about is if its just how I want it, would you be able to leave it to them??

I'm sure they'll know exactly what works and what doesn't hun and probably better than you (no offence) but owning the company will give them a good idea of where to start...and what it needs!
I say trust them and relax - it's his wedding too and he won't want it to look a show either!

Absolutely no chance would I let my h2b organise the decorating. I'm sure as it is their business they would be fine and you could always cut out pictures of things you do and don't want.

I know he has GREAT tastes, so i wouldnt be disapointed.. and if i was, it would only last for a few seconds cos the min i saw him at the bottom of that Isle, everything would dissapear, as im marrying the man of my dreams .... xxx

haha I know, he has said all the years he has done marquees for weddings he has taken ideas from each one that he has liked and he is going to put them all together for our day, Im sure it will be fab just the thought of it atm.. x

i couldnt because we are completely different, but i always try to put both of our personalitlies... were as hes be like plonk flowers on each table done. Hes more intersted int he cars and suits. which is undertandable as he is a guy.

I am pretty sure you have a safe bet there if he has had so much previous experience of marquees. It is a big part of the wedding planning but I would be happy to do this for my W2B and I but I would want her opinions taken into consideration such as things she would like and more importantly not like. Equally, I would not like my W2B to arrange something without at least a brief discussion about it with me. My W2B is an OCD perfectionist and while it would kill her not to be involved it would be a lovely gesture.
