Splitting hairs, but Lake Garda is in Sicily, in the deep south. You go there, and say you're in italy, and they will be made,an offer that you wont live to refuse! LOL:-)))

Lake Garda is in the north, Verona, nowhere near Sicily. I'm really excited about Marrying here, perhaps a little overwhelmed as it looks stunning :) x
I am going to Limone, Lake Garda for our honeymoon! Looks lovely. We went to Riva del Garda in 2009 for the day when we were staying in the dolomite mountains. In fact there was wedding going on then. Its a beautiful setting. Good choice for a wedding abroad x

We wnet on holiday to Bardolino last year, had a trip to Malcesine and it was lovely, highly recommended, we also had a day in Venice which was lovely

Don't know anything about getting married there but spent a long weekend at Lakes Garda and Como when we lived in Germany and it is a beautiful part of the world so definitely worth considering if you're thinking of going abroad!

I'm going to get married in Italy too...I decided to hire a wedding planner. She's amazing, I know we are in good hands, nothing is too much trouble and our budget is listened to and observed most attentively
