    has anyone else had a go at making thier own ? ,,.......i got so many flowers for my birthday i thought i`d have a go at drying the petals to save for confetti ......so far it seems to be working really well ....

    will also do lavender ..... you could buy flowers when they are reduced in tescos and dry them ?

    I've been buying roses whenever they're reduced in Tesco recently and already have a huge old-fashioned sweetie jar full of dried petals. You can also microwave them on kitchen roll for about 2-3 minutes in 30 second blasts, which works REALLY well!

    ive been putting them in the oven when i`m putting it on ... so they are there as it warms up

    i've saved all the rose petals from my val -day, b-day and mothers day and have a good amount from the garden.......i keep them in an airtight container with airfreshner to give them a lovely smell

    I'm thinking of doing this too as our venue doesn't allow normal confetti
