...but I've hit a stumbling block already, I know exactly what I want, how to go about creating them, yet for some reason I can't seem to find any blue card, that's only blue one side. Closest I've found is pre folded cards on ebay that are A6, I just need some A4 thats white on one side and blue the other. WHY CAN'T I FIND ANY!? Surely it exists?
Im not sure how I could make the blue work otherwise, as its the darker blue I need (I can't compromise on the shade, as it's TARDIS blue I need)
If anyone could help steer me in the right direction that would be grand, if not I guess I'll have to suck it up and try to make it work somehow.... :|

Have you tried the express website of the man who has 50 thieves? If you don't know what I'm on about then I can post a link. Sometimes the min. order is fairly high but theres a chance. x

I have seen some shiny card on the bay, A4. I'm intrigued by the man of 50 thieves though, he sounds interesting lol!!

I'll try the shiny card too, I didn't think of that, I'd prefer the matt finish but thats definately an option!
Also, I'm intrigued by the man who has 5o thieves too haha! A link would be grand as I haven't the faintest idea who/what that is!
Cheers ladies :)

I worked it out, can you remember the story XXX XXXX and the 40 thieves? Google the missing words lol!!!
You have plenty of time to find something though, so no need to panic just yet!! xxx
Have you thought about using blue card and printing all your details on a white/cream paper insert? Could be cheaper than sourcing hard to find card!
CommentAuthorVelcro
Oh an insert would work! I was thinking I might have to stick the white paper on the inside, but i thought that might look untidy... that's a much better idea!

Yes - and if you want to stick, I've heard glue dots work wonders and limit the mess - or if you have the time, I'd buy some ribbon in say blue or silver and tie it down the folded spine to keep your paper insert in the card :-)

I'll be needing ribbon as the way I'm folding them they will just spring open unless I tie them down, I'll be reinstalling photoshop later as well, so I'll hopefully be able to print off and create a few other bits and bobs as well as the invites :)

I make cards and can give you many tips. Inserts are best. I make my own inserts and stick them in myself too. It is easier than you think. I have made all my own invites, save the date, and table place cards, pics are in my album.
