tinting lasts quite a while - get it done the week before the wedding and it lasts 2-3 weeks i find!

As for making makeup last on your face all day use a good primer, use a gel if you have oily skin or a cream/liquid if you have normal to dry skin. Rimmel do a good one. And then use a setting spray. The evain one is not as expensive as the mac but it is preference really x

It depends on what your skin is liek and how it reacts with the cosmetics. If you have marks or things you want to stay covered up then it is worth investing in! x

I think I need to go on a make-up shopping trip. Even if I get someone else to do my make up I will need decent make up on me to do re-touches through out the day and I have nothing like that right now xx

anytime - i have really sensitive skin so i am avoiding anything that brings me up in a rash - gonna be practising a fair few looks and trying diffrenet samples of things to see what works well on my skin. I get bad eczema in the cold and also my skin rashes at the slightest thing. Had a MAC make over once and looked like a puffer fish the next day! x

I am thinking of seeing if someone at the benefit counter in debenhams or HOF can help me as they have some good stuff in terms of bases that will help me so I can wear soft subtle makeup i already have over the top so i don't come out in a reaction - the joys of being a girl sometimes! lol x

it is good stuff which is why i thought maybe just for the foundation so i have something soft and easy to wear on my face. Then I can use my avon cosmetics which i love on my eyes and cheeks x

Clinique as a new anti-redness foundation out at the moment. Looking through boots website benefit sounds really good but for all the treatments clinique sounds like it would be better for me! xx

I am a pro make-up Artist and ws horrified by what I have read here.... I give my clients a consultation on the day of the trial first. I ask how they see themselves on their wedding day and whether they were make-up if so how much.... I also ask my brides to collect pictures of make-up they like. Then once I have done the makeup for them I make them look at the make-up in different lights.. outside, inside etc...

I tell them if there is anything they do not like I take it off and do it again and will do this until the client is 100% happy because of this I tell my clients to leave a min of 2 hours for their trial.

So Mrs-Walker-2-b if youwant to message me with any questions about your make-up please do I am always happy to give free advice to anyone who asks.

Plus anyone who is going to have a make-up trial from a Mobile Makeup Artist please please make sure you use a professional - I have worked in make-up for over 15yrs I can supply testimonials from brides and loads of pictures plus I even have brides willing to talk to brides to be about me.
