Hi, has anyone had a magician at their wedding or planning on having one. I've found one but he's quoted £400 for two hours - surely that's WAY too much??!!

Thats cheap! My cousin had one at her wedding and it was 550 for an hour and then 3 15 minute slots during the evening reception. I've had some quotes and they are around 500 600 quid, know way I'm paying that much!

I think the only magic trick he is pulling is how to make your money vanish! I'm not having anything like this purely because we have spent so much on other things and I just can't justify spending any more money. I'm sure the kids will find their own amusement in running around the big lawns and dancing etc. The adults are big enough to entertain themselves with conversations for two hours while the music etc plays and if they don't like it then tough haha.
