I really hope so! Luckily my photographer is my Uncle and I know his work is amazing so hopefully if it is raining we will be able to have nice photos inside as well! I was debating whether or not to get casino tables for the evening do coz I can see good and possible bad points about them, I just want the guests to have a good time. Thanks guys x

I know what you mean, I've worried about having enough stuff going on so guests don't get bored. That is so jammy that your Uncle is a photographer

lol I know! I get the photography free (privledged!) and only have to pay for the albums. I really am lucky coz i'm quite camera shy and find it hard to smile on cue without looking crazy! but he knows how to make me smile =). My mum has been saying about the space of time between the wedding breakfast and the evening do which is getting me a bit spooked because i have no idea what the guests who are not staying at the hotel will do!

It's pretty normal to have "welcome drinks" in that time, people have a glass of bubbly and mingle while you get your pictures done xx

well we are having our pictures done after the ceremony so we are giving the welcome drinks then and then it will be the wedding breakfast. the space is probably about an hour/ hour and a half...my mum said she doesn't want people to just be standing around drinking.

We're getting married in Maes manor in September this year. We went for Sunday lunch last week and it was amazing. There was a wedding going on and it looked amazing! We've had such a good deal with them and have been treated like royalty whilst planning it. I have 74 days left and cannot wait!!! Just hoping for nice weather for those glorious photos!

aww congrats you two! You will have to let me know how your weddings go. Hmmm I like the thought of going there for food beforehand...Is it really expensive Angelaeris?

No it was about £12.50 for two courses and £15.50 for 3 but trust me you wont need 3 courses the amount you have for your main meal. I reccomend the pate for starters though. Its all served silver service style and is absolutely amazing! I am so glad as I know exactly what our main meal will be like for the wedding now. We went to sort out all the final details last week also and tasted the desert we are going to have and OMG!!!!! We're having the Beef and Yorkshires and chocoate and caramel on shortbread for desert! No starters for us as we went for the cheaper package and we're glad we did because of the amount of food you have in your main course lol. Have ylou been dealing with Gavin? He's been really good to us.

We've got about an hour and a half/ two hours between our speeches and evening guests arriving, but it's mostly family so we'll have a chance to speak to everyone and most people will know at least 10 others. And because we're so spread out across the country it'll be great to catch up and I'd like pictures of everyone, this may sound daft but there are no pics of H2B & our son at my sisters wedding and only one of me!
I'm also buying some of them giant games and having little goody bags for the kids to keep them out of trouble and stop them getting bored until the disco starts!
