    Hi ladies,

    We are having a intimate wedding so we have decided to have a big party when we get back! What we can't decide on is the theme for the party as it's Christmas time! I love the idea of a mad hatters tea party but don't think this will go! With it being Christmas time I like the idea of Snow White themed too but so unsure! Can anybody think of any other suggestions as I am seriously stuck!!

    I am so jealous over every Christmas wedding - that's how I would do it.

    Giant candycanes, centerpieced could be the wonky tips of the mountains with a bauble hanging down. Many kitschy lights, red 50s dresses and I would wear the tea cup hat :-)

    I wanted to at first but for various reasons we decided against it - first of all h2bs grandad asked for it not to be in winter time because it's harder for the elderly to get about and joints are even stiffer than anyway. We love and respect this man very much and took this into account. H2b fully vetoed anything close to christmas (incl October - March) because of financial reasons and then the other thing is illness - ever since we had a child we are ill every bloody winter. I can cope with a stonking cold but not with a tummy bug on my wedding day.
