well ive been chatting with Mike my wooden sign man and he is going to create the mad hatter croquet hoops for us to keep the kids busy. I have seen pics but hunted the net and could not locate 1 anywhere so Mike is going to make me this one

He is even going to do the flamingo's to attach on the croquet mallets and my "this way, that way, up,down" sign :)

has anyone else thought of having this or am I just going a tad OTT x

We're having the 'this way, that way' signs but not the croquet as we're not having many children so would be pointless for us, but it's an awesome idea :) xx

Mintymonkie beat me to it saying it's the queen of hearts that does the croquet haha... just me being pedantic.

In addition to the flamingo croquets, why not add some green and pink fuzz/felt to the balls and some sticky on googly eyes (can get both from early learning centre or a craft shop) as in the cartoon the "ball" the queen of hearts uses is a little green hedgehog and alice's is a pink one.

Also another idea lol (told you i was a fanatic...):

The "hoops" that alice and the queen aim for are actually bent over playing cards (all are hearts cards, no other suits). It might be easier for your h2b to recreate as opposed to all the characters? though admittedly the characters are a nicer touch LOL

Thank you Modmummy I probably seen it as a kid but cant remember seeing it lol Ive seen a pic of the croquet with the cards bent over but the kids/ adults may wreck them plus we have an a3 size pack of cards for the kids to play with on the green :) x
