We are having a civil ceremony so no religious music allowed (would of loved some Christmas Carols). We have a few songs that we love the words to but if we play the instrumental version then they are not heard? Is anybody having the lyrical version of their song when walking down the aisle or is it tradition to have the instrumental?

We're having a Church wedding and going pretty traditional, however I don't see a problem with having lyrical versions, I'm sure loads of people do

If you like the words then go ahead, as long as they're not religious.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
We are having lyrics, but for the songs during signing the register having instrumental :) xx
