So I absolutely love big heels, and every time I look up which kind of wedding shoes I like, these are always the kind I come up with. One problem- h2b is taller than me, but not by much. If I was to wear a big pair of heels I would 1) be taller than him and 2) probably wouldn't be able to walk haha. I want low shoes that I'll be comfortable in but that are also nice. Im getting married in July so I like the idea of just flat silver sandals or something similar, but I can't find any nice ones that I like :/ anyone else thinking of going flat? And if so, do you mind sharing what shoes you're wearing? Could really use someone else's ideas! :)

Like you, h2b is only just taller than me, by an inch!! I will be wearing flats, as I would like to comfortable as well as not towering over h2b. If you internet search flat wedding shoes, quite a few nice ones come up xx

I'm getting flats as quite frankly, even if I did wear heels, we'd have to have the ceremony in the plaster room!! I always wear flip flops so I am going to get a cheap pair off the bay and prettify them for myself

Im wearing some low court shoes thwt are a pastel mint green! Got them in the sale aypt debs same time as my wedding will be, but last year! Means ive had a year to break them in amd with me for all my dress fittings! Im about an inch taller than my h2b but his shoes for his uniform plus hus hat will give him wome heigyt on the day. I cant abide flat shoes as they make my feet ache, plus I clomp around in them because of my flat feet, so these satisfy my want to be girly, comfort, practicality etc! Think the branf was step into spring.
I am wearing quite low (ish) heels from Schoe. They are so comfy. xxx

Btw photo wise dont worry about being taller than him as photograohers can be really clever with it creating illusions and wont matter when sat down at the reception!
And we lived happily ever after!

Have you tried looking into a pair of wedges? Best of both worlds then you feel you are in a slight heel but not hugely taller than H2b?
I have gone for some wedges (Picture in my album) as I wouldn't last all day in heels but with wedges I have more of a chance of lasting lol.

He can always wear boots with a bit of a heel too, if he's concerned about the height thing.
