I'm on a serious weight loss challenge!! lol. I started about 2 weeks ago and I've lost 7lb so far. I'm just healthy eating and exercising. I've cut out chocolate and fizzy drinks and I think that alone has made a huge difference!

I joined the gym in mid January and thought I wanted to lose weight, but the more I think about it I have come t orealise that my weight isn't really a major issue, wobblyness is!
So have decided to tone up rather than lose weight, as for the first time in my life I have proper boobs since putting on a stone andI don't want to lose them!
I try to go the the gym 3-4 times a week. I do 40 minutes of cardio work then do a 'quick circuit' of the various weight machines. i haven't really seen much difference yet but it's early days.
Well done for losing all that weight already!

I lost a stone and then put it on again so I'm starting again. Hopefully this time I will manage to keep it off as I won't have Christmas to trip me up.

Would love to lose a size or two. Have been going to gym since last autumn, skipped december and started again in beginning of january. Havent lost a pound since then... just cm...
No idea whats wrong, maybe too much weights and stuff... fat burns down and gets replaced by muscle straight away.
So just want to lose a dress size or two, not weight.
Quite hard to keep myself motivated becouse of that though.... feel healthier and fitter, but scales still show the same....

Well my aim is to lose 5 stone before the wedding, i've decided to start now and give myself plenty of time as I want to keep the weight off - lifestyle change rather than a diet. I've lost 10lbs since 4th of Jan, doing weight watchers and Davina dvd most mornings. The great thing is that i've still managed to go out and have a life and drink and eat nice food cos I don't stick to it everyday and give myself a day off at least one day a week! Also worked out that if I lose 2 lbs a week for Jan and Feb and then 1 lb a week for the rest of the year, i'll have lost 4 stone 4lbs by the end of the year, leaving me with just 10 lbs to lose before the wedding! Think it's very do-able!

It is very doable girls, just keep motivated, but remember not to deprive yourself fully, if you deny it too long it calls to you even more, so if you can have a little bit and keep in control, find healthier alternatives and move more, it will happen! Good luck to you all! Just think how great you will look in your dress!

I'm trying to lose 1 stone as i will then be in my ideal bmi and to top it off at the lower end of ideal :) I've come down from 14.8 stone to 13stone and having been remeasured found I had grown an inch in height so my bmi dropped dramatically and found out the reason I was finding it hard to drop back down to 10 stone is I was a good inch shorter then! So I'm in the lower end of the overweight catagory rather than the higher end of the obese catagory xxx

I need to lose about 2 stone for next June, and I am going to do it with the Wii Fit and EA Active, with lots of walking when it gets a bit warmer. Don't think it is fair to take my little girl out in this weather, but looking forward to the Summer, then I will be off! It worked for me before Xmas and I lost about 10lbs, but then I got ill after Xmas, then my 3 kids took it in turns, so haven't had a chance to get back into it, but starting again this week. Well done to all you ladies losing some decent amounts of weight and good luck with the rest! :D

Lost about 4 and a half stone now, not weighed for a couple of weeks though, not sure if I want to lose any more as in size 12 now and feel ok. Trying dress again next week or week after and will see after that whether to go down any more, BMI is 26 now so would be nice to see it go below 25 and be in the 'healthy zone' but to be honest I'm quite happy now. If dress fits ok then will most probably just try to maintain, or maybe drop that last 7lbs just to prove I can do it to myself! Been a long long 10 months of dieting but when I look back at my fatty pics I am so glad I stuck with it!

Abi4tomboy - didnt follow any particular diet, just healthy eating, cut out all the junk, cakes, biscuits, crisps, cut down on bread which was biggest problem! Started grilling and baking instead of frying things, put the deep fat fryer in the bin! Made sure there never was any tempting snack foods in the cupboard, just lots of fruit. Ate more meat and fish and definitely more salad and veg. Swapped sugar for sweeteners in my coffee, swapped full fat milk for skimmed, low fat spread for butter, that sort of thing. Small changes have seemed to make a big difference, half the time it hasnt felt like I'm dieting to be honest.

im not a big bread eater and i dont drink hot drinks or milk so sugar and milk arent a problem im always tempted by chocaltte but i dont give in to it and im not a crisps eater i could have a big bag of crisps in frount of me and hapily go without one and we dont own a fryer i think this is part of the reason im struggling as i have done most of it already

I can never stick to the systems - I have tried SW and WW, I'm currently (trying to) use Zumba on the Wii and eating healthily, somewhere along the way I've lost my willpower though. Wedding isn't until 2013 but I figure if I lose it now, I only have to maintain my ideal weight. Some gentle (or not so) nudging would be appreciated xx

hahaa yeah i do struggle! but the key i found is letting myself have 2 treats a week that means if i want chips i have chips from the chippy or a dominoes but then i am good for the rest of the week! stops me craving bad food so much! and with the gym i just got myself some good dance music to make me feel pumped about being there and i noticed i work harder the faster music i have on!! :) also i ordered my wedding dress online the other week and i ordered it 1 inche smaller then what i am now so i have to get my arse to the gym haha! its my motivation!! lol x
