Omg, post wedding shoot for 4 hours including time to do makeup and hair, and post editing (as part of the package) is coming in at 300! So we're going to go for it! And the best thing is, he's jam packed with weddings until October, so we're going to try and book it for the day before we're off to my uncle's wedding that month - which is incidentally the week after we get back from honeymoon, so we'll be all tanned from the Indian Ocean! And we're taking my dress on honeymoon too so we can have beach photos, the resort said it's only $150 to use their photographer for an hour and get a dvd - ooh can't believe I get to wear my dress another 2 times! Wahoo!

Well it only came up yesterday and I was like "Ermmmm helloooooo where's this week's brides?" lol.
I cannot believe it's only 2 days away. I am so nervous today. Had my hair coloured last night and my mum and dad are so anxious as well when the hairdresser asked if they are excited they just went "hmmmm...." and a big silence. I was like "Err, don't sound too excited there folks!" - made me really anxious that they're not excited for the day. ;o(
I've been sorting out everything we need to take to the hotel later so I was ok this morning, but now I've stopped, the nerves have really kicked in again! It's terrible! Going to meet with hotel at 3.30pm, go through the day and ALL my instructions lol. Then I have my spray tan at 9pm tonight.
Tomorrow morning I'm getting my nails done, then we need to take H2B's dad's suit over to him (Wirral) and H2B is getting his beard tidied up. Then some shopping for the boys breakfast on Friday and I'll be off to my mum and dad's house for the night.
I really cannot believe it's on FRIDAY!!!!

I feel nervous now so can only imagine how you must be feeling!! So what spray tan are you having? I have my spray tan booked in for the thurs eve and the wedding is on fri but I think I need to change it as I will look too brown?xx

It's Tan Solutions. My hairdresser does it. I had it done for my hen night on the Thursday (went out on Saturday) and it was lovely. I don't want to be too dark as I'm pale anyway and only wanted a hint of colour so getting it done tonight.
What are you having? I found the Fake Bake to go far too dark for me and it was really patchy on my hands and feet the day after, although it did fade really evenly and went a nice colour.

Im getting a mobile tanner in for next thursday for the wedding im going to, but im terrified shes going to tango me! So we'll see how it goes lol. I only want a bit of a glow. Plus Ive never had one before so its an experience lol.

I'm really pale too (think milk bottle!) I've had my fair share of tan disasters in the past but St Tropez does look nice on me if I get a spray tan. I usually get it the night before the event that i'm going to but i'm not usually wearing an ivory dress to these events so am worried I will look too dark against the ivory. The lady in the dress shop yesterday said it would be a big mistake to get a spray done the night before and I actually thought I looked ok in my dress yesterday without any spray tan. so now i'm in a dilemna! I like a spray tan cus it evens out my skin tone esp on my chest which is sundamaged....

Yeah I thought that about my tan when I tried my dress on. But what my friends said is that's in the shop light (which is designed to make you look good lol). In daylight, it will be different plus a tan always makes me feel better.
If I were you, I'd maybe have it two days before. Just in case.

Thanks hun. I am excited now...Dropped all our wedmin off earlier this afternoon and I feel quite calm now which is a godsend as I was really nervous before and was too panicky!!

I don't know actually. 1pm possibly though sure it was no later than 3pm - just checked her album and it was 1pm.
I forgot to say I had my hen do on Saturday. It was the best night ever! I went out in town to Il Forno for a meal then to Revolution for Cocktail Making. Then we went to Alma de Cuba. It was so much fun.Few piccies:

Would totally recommend the cocktail making class. It was really good fun and you got loads of drinks included. Everyone really enjoyed it and we had the bar to ourselves til about 10.30 so we could have a good dance! I wish I could do it all again :-)

My theme was hot pink! Varying degrees but everyone had some pink which was nice! Ah we didn't make it there for 11, we only went at about midnight. Couldn't get everyone off the dancefloor in Revs! x

I have 33 days to go. And 35 til we head to Vegas. So excited. I have my guidebooks, my ESTA and my new bag - big enough to hold my paparazzo camera! H2b got a tax rebate last week which is paying for a helicopter trip to the Canyon :-)

Woohoo just spoken to the dress alterations lady and I'm dropping off my dress on Friday to get the zip repaired - my bridesmaid tangled a hanging loop in it and forced the zip up, meaning that to get out of the dress one side of the teeth came out of the zipper - duh! Am also going to sneakily ask her to let out the bust a touch as I think I've put on a tiny bit since the wedding (only 2.5 lbs, but the exercise has been lacking since May!) so when we have the post wedding photos it'll all look like it fits properly - can't believe I'm going to have a dress fitting when we've been married over 8 weeks! Still so exciting!!

Love the pictures, it looked amazing. Just a note to everyone who is looking at doing the cocktail making at Revolution, they offer deals to some stag & hen companies like Henworld (£30pp), Funktion Events (£27.50pp), Chillisauce (£33pp) who can then offer it cheaper than going direct.
I only realised when I was booking my best friends do's. I spoke to Revolution and then booked with another company who use their bar (same package) but saved £3 per person and got food.

Where are you all getting cakes from ladies? Ive had a quote back from a lady thats been doing my cakes for years for all occassions (celebration cakes in crosby) and its come in at £495 for 3 tier sponge, there is a fair bit of detail on it though. Im looking for other places to get quotes from, any suggestions? xx
