Hi all, absolutely brand new to the forum and to weddings to be honest! The only weddings I've been to since I could speak/walk was my cousins last year where I was bridesmaid, also one just recently for a friend. I'm 23 so don't have much in the way of experience! I met the love of my life last year and he proposed just before Christmas 2014 so a couple of weeks ago! I'm not very traditional and have always loved the pin up/vintage look so no long dress for me! I know the dress I want and have done for years, it's the Lindy Bop Ophelia in ivory/white whatever it comes i, I also know the shoes I want which I'll attach a photo of, they are bespoke handmade Disney shoes! Basically, I am really hoping that alternative/pin up/vintage brides on here have been married in similar dresses so I can get an idea of what it looks like with all the extras like bouquet and veil etc, I also fluctuate my weight so I can be a size 10/12 or 18/20 so brides of all shapes and sizes would be fantastic! Look forward to hearing from you all!
