ffs just had 2 cancel on me... well not cancel but only coming the ceremony then getting off at 4pm..... our venue is locking the gates from 1215pm until 11pm so god knows how they are gonna get out...
ceremony is in the same place as the reception.... so they are gonna stay the ceremony then when food gets served there going so will be 330 pm as thats when were eating...
so thats £200 lost cos they rsvpd and said yes so put em down for food ... and now we have a table of 6 , 7 8 and 10 ...
so annoying when people cancel... h2b had his cousin cancil until she was told shed had to come!!!!
so annoying... why say ur coming when your not coming for all of it ... does me tree in where having an all day event as we dont want extras coming in seeing as were leaving to go on honey moon early
dunno why i bother ... no one else we can invite.. so 2 spare tickets going free ladies lol
really fed up ... just waiting for the next thing to go wrong tbh

I have 2 cancelled too croc.. i spoke to my venue and they refunded 2 meals back to my credit card!!
kimmy it all ready sounds like they are gonna be locked in lol. keep them locked in till ur ready for them to go after u have celebrated everything :-)

yeah they have to be locked in lol .. its not really a wedding its a nut job convention!!!
no they have to lock the gates as they are always locked as its a mile odd drive up the drive to the house ... so they lock it to stop waifs and strays !!! ive gate crashed a wedding before yrs ago and no one is gate crashing mine that i dont know lol
yep in my contract that i recieve no refunds if guests cancel once final balance is paid ...
the reason why they are going is because my gay friend its his bestest bestest mates birthday and its his 30th so there having a royal gay fook up for it but he said hes coming to my ceremony as thats the most important part!!!
ill just send wm the bill haha

I really cant see why people cancell they have plently of notice to get the day off work or something and their getting a good meal! I know i wouldnt let people down if i was going to a wedding!x

That is something that will make me mad if I have last minute cancellation, as I have already given save the date to make sure that people can book holidays early enough and also don't plan Holidays during that time. I will request rsvp something like 2 months before and people know they shouldn't mess with me, as I am not afraid to shout at them if need be

Thats awful, surely your wedding is more important than someones 30th, its only a birthday, they will have others, you will only have one wedding day.
Im mad at the moment too as i sent out save the date cards about a year ago as i am getting married 2nd Sept 2011 and knew people take holidays around that time, my aunty was going away for her 25th wedding anniversary but cancelled, we normally go away around last week aug/first week of september so i thought i was being really organised, sent the invites out and one of my closest friends told me shes on holiday and will be back on the 3rd. She thought my wedding was on the 4th!! Now its not like i have kept it a secret or anything Im just really mad as i only have 3 good friends, shes one of them and the rest are 'work' friends.
Anyway i will have to get over it!!! I do hope no one else cancells for you.
