    Hi Girls,

As some of you know we have been booking our wedding abroad on our own with no travel agent due to the location of where we are having our ceremony and no one offering the package.
We have decided where we want to go and have booked most of it all flights and all but one hotel.

We leave Florida ( all booked) to go to Hollywood for a week staying in the London ( all booked) From there we go to New Orleans Drurys inn ( all booked ) So that just leaves Vegas.

I have seen some of you comment on how you have been there so what hotels would you recommend as that is our last hurdle xx

Oh my goodness - I LOVE VEGAS!!!
I stayed at the Mirage the first time (long time ago tho!), last time we stayed at Excalibur as it was crazily busy everywhere else. What sort of thing are you looking for - luxury? Theme?
New York New York is a stunning hotel if you were looking for a themed one, the actual hotel is built to 1/3 scale of the actual Manhattan skyline, and the casino floor looks like Central Park!
The Bellagio is really classy and elegant (the one in Oceans 11 film that they robbed!), Wynn is quite new and really really gorgeous - proper luxury.
Ones to avoid I would say are Circus Circus, Luxor, Stratosphere and possbly Excalibur - they are just a bit old and tired....
Hope that helps - let me know if you want anymore info - I just realise that I think I typed for too long!
You are going to have an amazing time!!! xx

It is luxury we are after we had thought the Bellagio but peeps on Trip advisor said the Wynn and Aria were better so just wondered if anyone here would agree as it seems to be all Americans on that site and i don't trust it as much as i used to due to a bad experience xx

I would say that either Bellagio or Wynn would be lovely.

I have been to Vegas three times, first time stayed at New York New York, 2nd time MGM Grand and 3rd time The Venetian. New York New York was the cheapest of all and my fav!! Its right on the strip and great location, the rooms are huge (if you say your honeymooners you will get upgrade as my best friend had this happen to her), the atmosphere is more of a party vide, so if your looking for something quieter more civalised then the venetian would be the one for you. Eithe way as long as you stay in a hotel on the main strip u really cannot go wrong, as they are all great!

I LOVE Las vegas, I've been twice, we went once and just had to go back it was amazing! unfortunatley last year I was there 2 weeks before my 21st birthday so I couldn't even say I went in a casino :(
We stayed in circus circus (google it) I've never seen a hotel so big, there is casinos, hotel rooms, swimming pools, shops, restaurants, an indoor theme park! It was a nice hotel and it was only about $35 a night, the best thing was it was on the strip so we were next to all the big casinos.
Only thing was we went in July the 1st time and August the 2nd time so it was about 120 degrees, makes me sweat thinking about it!!
Oooh I want to go back now :/ lol
I forgot to mention it's called circus circus because the top floor is a circus lol

i wouldnt stay in the Wynn ...quite expensive and ther are much better hotel to stay in ......do you want to have a casino in your hotel ? if not try the marriott Grand chateau it`s where we have one of our apartments and i think you can just stay there ,it has no casino so you dont have to walk through it to go to bed !!!! ...planet hollywood has just been done out and you will see the plant hollywood towers

Last year we stayed in the Imperial Palace which is right in the middle of the strip but was a lot cheaper than the other hotels around it. It was not as modern as the others but we had not problems there

Love Vegas, we stayed there last year and we had a luxury Go room in The Flamingo, it was amazing...... we asked for a view of the strip and we had a fantastic view, just to the left we could see the Bellagio fountains and straight ahead we could see caesars palace and just beyond that were the mountains, we never shut the curtains at night so could wake up to the sun rising over the mountains. The curtains were remote control and the huge bathroom had a tv built into the bathroom mirror. If we had the money we would stay at the bellagio but for a cheaper alternative the Flamingo was brill, really lovely pool area and buffett resteraunt too. it is a little old though so if your budget is not a problem then, the more luxury hotels are The wynn, Bellagio, venetian but Bellagio is the most central. Hope any of that helps, we are going to vegas for our honeymoon and havent decided where to stay yet, would deffo stay back at Flamingo but want to try a different hotel is all. x

We were there a few weeks ago and stayed in two different hotels - the Bellagio at first which was great and very luxurious. We loved it and the location was fantastic in the center of the strip. The only thing was that everything was very expensive - lovely bars and restaurants but not the cheapest. We went travelling for a week and came back and stayed in the Mandalay Bay which was lovely again and especially loved the bar with the bands in the evening. Only trouble was it was right down the end of the strip. If I was going again I would stay in Paris - loved the view of the Eifel Tower and you'd see the Bellagio fountains or we would stay in Caesers Palace as we especially loved the covered shopping area, massive fish tank/aquarian and the Cheesecake Factory. It's all personal taste though. Can't wait to go back!
