hey ladys i was just wondering if anyone had been in the Land of Pound and seen what they have for weddings they have little things like groom and bride cake boxes and champagne bubbles which has given me an idea for my favours ^.^ anyone elce got any ideas for cheap favours and table decorations??? xx

organza bags in my colour scheme, with mini white heart mints (7.50 for 1000) from bay of e. table decorations - cheap goldfish bowls (dunelm) with glass pebbles and floating candles in. thats what we having :-) xx

that sounds lovely i was just serching stuff and found favour box diy templates which made mw very excited!! and lanterns made from jars and tissue paper that look really cool :P x

that sounds quite a good idea. you can buy flat packed boxes from bay of e cheaply too. bet the lanterns look lovely. you can get some really good bargains when you start lokking around :-) x

Charity favours r growing in popularity. We're having help for heroes bands as h2b is ex army but they don't go with my colour scheme so they're going in gold organza bags when I finally buy them!! Some may not wear them, but equally not everyone will like the sweets/perfumes/booze u can buy so at least it's raised money & awareness prior to collecting dust or meeting the owners bin bag ;). Having a sweetie station so ppl can have a pick at that too!!

my neighbour works at a honey farm so I'm asking him if he gets staff discount on the little pots of beeswax and honey lipbalm. They're £2 each normally so I'm hoping we can get a bargain for the ladies favours. not sure what to do for the men tho.

oo i never thought of lookin in the land of pound or equivelant!! hjl2001uk i think that a lot of men would like the lip balm too lol see if you can get it in stick form for them lol
