Here is a thread for all the lake district brides...whether there is many or not, I dont know.
I am finding it slightly difficult finding suppliers around the lakes, because I live in Nottingham (3 hours drive away). So was wondering if we could share all our ideas and suppliers (obviously on each others walls for suppliers) as this would help me no end.

I'm getting married at Netherwood Hotel & Spa in Grange-over-Sands. We love it. Dave proppossed there so we think it's perfect.
We've found most of our suppliers so far by going through the info that was in the Wedding Brochure also the Owner's daughter got married there last year (I think it was last year) anyway. He's really friendly and has been really helpful.
Have you tried talking to your venue and asking if they have any recommended suppliers? Or do you know anyone who has been married or are getting married close by who could make personal recommendations?

Hey Kim,
As you know I am a Lake Disrict bride. I've already recommended my hairdresser to you, anything else you'd like a hand with just let us know as we've pretty much sorted now (supplier wise anyway!)

We like it, we're only having around 20 people and that includes us so we can splash out on other things.
