Just been shopping with my MIL2b and bought some ready creased cards with envelopes, vintage patterned paper, ribbon and buttons to decorate all for under £20! And the best thing is I get to make them look just how I want them to. But best get on with them soon, coz it will probably take me all of 17 months to make 40 of them, lol, just glad pretty much all of our guests are couples otherwise it would be double! Just wanted to share, h2b getting a bit bored I think with all this wedding talk! :) x

aww cool well done, i love a bargain, like got a set of wedding rings for me and him for £10, was quoted £60 for my bouquet to be done so i went out and bought fake flowers myself and some pearls and made my own bouquet for £15.

Sounds like you are very resourceful! And there is nothing wrong with that, I am thinking of changing my mind about the wedding cake as it would cost £325 to make my dream cake, but maybe seeing as it is only going to be decimated I could go with something cheaper. :) x

That is a good idea mitch, think a couple a day is just enough, it will probably take an hour to do them! But h2b has made me promise not to start them til we have put a deposit down on the hall and got a venue for the ceremony booked, which means waiting til Summer as the registry office we want is moving and won't know how big it will be til then, grrrrr. That is like putting a bar of chocolate in front of me and saying don't eat it! :) Have fun when you go shopping for stuff becky, I am sure they will turn out lovely! If you actually love making things then what could go wrong! :)
