we are asking for Thomas Cook vouchers as gifts as we have lived together for 4 years. My h2b has 3 mountain bikes and a motor bike and we live with my son Kyle. So i wrote a poem to include with the invitations:
The most important gift to us is that you share our day, But if you wish to contribute in some other way, A gift of holiday vouchers would be our wishes, Because we already have pots, pans, cutlery and dishes.
We've lived together for a little while, And have most things for us and Kyle. A family holiday is what we's like, And guess what John? you're not taking your bike!
We don't even care about the amounts, It's your presence on our day that really counts!
